Now this was a surprise, a big snowfall while all the leaves are golden in Autumn. What a wakeup that mornging ....and delight. Yeah, Winter we thought was along way off!

First Snow

First Snow is based on a truly early snow at the beginning of October, well before all the leaves had even finished changing colors and falling. It was a striking morning with the sun backlighting the trees creating huge shadows ahead of the view while crowning the trees silhouette with glorious light.
