Cornucopia

Abundance is the key idea when fall appears.  Everything is ripe and ready to pick, so much more than you could eat alone. So you can can or freeze some, but the greatest joy is sharing the food with friends and family!  I remember my mom always having an abundance of zucchini.  We ate zucchini in everything from spaghetti sauces to soup, and bread and cupcakes.  Without fail we ate through Christmas and sometimes even into January with the produce from the harvest.
