Lone Horse Rider

At another time, I used to travel to Wyoming every year. It was vastly different from the Wisconsin I knew, with its towering mountains and roaming wild bison. But more striking was the raw nature of its people, who prided themselves on their wit, cunning, and rugged individualism. Yet, even in this land of fierce independence, there were moments of vulnerability—like a lonely horse standing still, its rider lost, a poignant symbol that even the toughest have  limits.
