Sunny Glade opens between trees toward a warm field in the distance. Lavender-colored flowers gather along the green foreground, creating a gentle transition between shade and open sunlight.
The trees provide upright accents around the broader sweep of meadow. Judith Reidy’s acrylic brushwork keeps the leaves and flowering growth lively, while softer distant colors give the eye a place to rest.
The painting recalls the warmth of a summer day and the pleasure of finding a quiet opening along a walk. Its fresh color makes an appealing landscape for someone who enjoys gardens, meadows, and familiar seasonal comforts.
