Path Through the Red Trees (SOLD)

A pale path curves beneath a brilliant canopy of red and orange leaves. This acrylic landscape invites a shared walk through the glowing colors of autumn.

Path Through the Red Trees leads the eye along a pale, curving path beneath a brilliant autumn canopy. Scarlet, coral, orange, and golden foliage fill the upper part of the scene, while dark trunks stand at intervals along the route. The path bends into the woods, giving the viewer a natural way to enter the painting.

Judith Reidy’s acrylic brushwork brings energy to the leaves through many varied touches of warm color. Dark branching silhouettes provide structure within the glowing canopy, and lighter passages suggest sunlight reaching through the trees. Along the ground, scattered leaves echo the colors overhead and connect the foreground to the deeper woodland.

Part of Autumn Impressions, this landscape celebrates the pleasure of walking through the changing season. Its winding path suggests movement and discovery, while the surrounding trees create an intimate, sheltered setting. The painting invites an unhurried look at the richness of fall color.
